Join us at Smart Education as we embark on an exciting partnership with a renowned Special Education Needs (SEN) Secondary School located in Wolverhampton, recognised by Ofsted for its 'Good' rating. In line with our commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments, we are seeking passionate individuals to expand our team of dedicated Teaching Assistants. Your role will be pivotal in providing essential support to students with diverse needs, particularly those with autism, through both short and long-term assignments.

 

About the Role:

As a valued member of our team at the SEN Secondary School, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational journey of students with special needs, including those diagnosed with autism. Your responsibilities will encompass providing tailored assistance to facilitate their learning and overall development. We are seeking candidates who bring not only relevant experience but also hold a Level 2 or 3 Qualification, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in supporting SEN children.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), with a focus on autism and other related needs.
  • Possession of a Level 2 or 3 Qualification in a relevant field, ensuring a solid foundation for effective assistance.
  • Either currently holding a DBS on the update service or displaying willingness to undergo the necessary checks.
  • Successful completion of reference checks covering 24 months of employment history, including recent positions, to ensure suitability for the role.
